Senior Mechanical Engineer

In this position, the selected will provide the necessary technical leadership, mentoring and guidance to the mechanical staff in your department to assure total quality of all engineering efforts, appropriate fee development and timely billing and collection of project fees.  You will assist the utilities Director in meeting divisional marketing goals, revenue projections and client expectations. You would serve as the Project Manager and/or Engineer when dictated by the project needs.
Qualified candidates will possess a Bachelor's degree, PE, and at least 8 years experience in the engineering and design of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems for commercial, institutional, governmental, and airport facilities. Leadership and project management successes are required.

 

Plumbing & Fire Protection Engineer I

The successful candidate will be responsible for complete performance of mechanical engineering tasks by designing and drafting plumbing systems.
In this position you will be responsible for Plumbing System Design - Sanitary and vent system, Domestic water systems- in addition to construction administration tasks by processing drawings, RFI’s and site visit. Additionally, you will be responsible for coordinating efforts between disciplines and work as a team player under the supervision of the direct supervision of the Project Engineer on specific assignments.
Qualified candidates will possess a Bachelor's degree, EI or PE preferred, and at least 3 years experience in the engineering and design of plumbing systems for commercial, institutional and governmental facilities. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential

 

Mechanical Field Representative

Researches. Plans, applies engineering criteria for projects and designs mechanical and electromechanical products and systems by performing the following duties:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Researches and analyzes data such as customer design proposal, specifications, and manuals to determine feasibility of design or application
Designs systems such as air conditioning, plumbing, fire protection  or heat transfer systems. Provides mechanical engineering design. Provides calculation to ensure a good system design is issued for bid and construction. Does site visits to projects during construction phase of project. Provide shop drawing review and review of RFIs.
Demonstrates attention to detail, be familiar with codes and standards, Collects and researches data, Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner and Coordinates projects. Supervisory experience is a plus.
Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university; or three years of experience.

 

Mechanical Engineer II

The acceptable candidate will work under the senior engineer manager supervision. Mechanical Engineer II is liable for planning, designing and producing engineering components. You will apply your highest level of engineering skills, judgment and experience to develop accurate engineering solutions.
Responsibilities include assist project teams in developing and commercializing new and innovative products/processes.
You must work well in a tem work environment.
coordinates the activities of other team members and assists in production as needed to meet schedules. You may function as a Project Engineer on specific projects of smaller scope, participate in the firm's marketing effort, and supervise the tasks and methods used by other personnel assigned to the project. Qualified candidates will possess a Bachelor's degree, EI or PE preferred, and at least 4 years experience in the engineering and design of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems for commercial, institutional, governmental, and healthcare facilities. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
